LifeOS SMS Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 26, 2026

LifeOS is a personal productivity and life-management system operated by Luke Sheaffer as a sole proprietor ("LifeOS," "we," "us"). This policy describes how the LifeOS SMS notification program handles information.

What the program does

LifeOS sends personal task reminders, schedule alerts, and priority notifications by SMS to phone numbers that have been explicitly enrolled and verified by their owner. Message frequency varies; recipients typically receive a few messages per day. Message and data rates may apply.

Information we collect

The program stores the mobile phone number a recipient enrolls, along with the task and schedule content the recipient has created in their own LifeOS system. We do not collect information from anyone who has not enrolled.

No sharing of mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories listed above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with, or sold to, any third parties.

Consent

Recipients opt in by texting START to the LifeOS number from their own phone, then confirm a one-time 6-digit code and tick an unchecked-by-default consent checkbox in the LifeOS application to link the verified number to their account. Consent to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase.

Opting out and getting help

Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for assistance. You can also contact us at the email below.

Data retention and security

Enrollment information is retained only while the recipient's LifeOS notifications are active and is deleted upon opt-out or on request. Data is stored in access-controlled cloud infrastructure and is not sold, rented, or disclosed except as required by law.
